TQS policy 8.2 states that first time applicants to the TQS will be issued a TQS category card provided that it is their intention to apply for a position in the BC Public School System. In order to obtain any future cards or services from the TQS, applicants will be required to provide proof of current employment in the BC Public School System. For unemployed individuals applying for an upgraded, revised, or replaced TQS card, we will accept a written statement verifying that you are seeking employment in the BC Public School System. Applicants requesting a review or appeal must be employed in the BC Public School System, and must provide current evidence of such. Acceptable proof of public school employment can be any of the following: - a clear photocopy of a recent paystub - a photocopy of a recent letter of appointment - a letter from the school district confirming current employment Personal financial information such as salary amount, deductions, and account numbers can be blacked out. This information is not required by the TQS. |
